IMO serious issues concerning public health should be able to discussed. The first question I would ask is, "Is this report factual?" If it is, it ought to be discussed.

In Australia we don't have a bill of rights but if a government official were to deny children something as important as a vaccine that would allow them to grow up as healthy human beings there would be hell to pay. Parents should be allowed to refuse vaccinations for their children but no government should have the right to withhold them.

I see it more as news about a potential public health risk, if something like that were to go into effect, which hopefully it won't. The nature of the responses could turn it into something political (Lord knows that's happened here before). Sometimes there's a very fine line between what's important news and what's political, especially about policies that affect us healthwise and financially. Doesn't mean we shouldn't be made aware of these things.

To be clear. Canada needs potential Immigrants who are young, well educated University graduates whose skills are in demand in our country. We also need skilled trades people, who have at least 5 years of experience in their trade or craft.

On the other hand, Canada does not have a senior's Visa program. I get asked about this quite frequently on another forum that deals with Canadian immigration. Americans can visit Canada, as tourists, for up to 183 days in any 12 month period of time but as visitors they cannot work or attend school in Canada,. For that you must apply for, and receive a work or study visa from our Government. JIM.

You left out the people who are going to grow the carrots, onions, cabbage, potatoes, milk the cows and 100's of other food items that are produced in CA?

The Canadian Federal Government has been warning about the increasing number of measles cases in Canada, that are linked to travelers coming from Pakistan to Canada by air. Just yesterday, there was a TV news warning about a possible transmission at the Toronto International airport, because of an infected child , who arrived from Pakistan the day before. LINK.

Ok, to be clear, look up whether certain vaccines have been safetied or tested? I was just as shocked to find that most of them, in fact almost all of them are not studied, safetied or tested before authorization.
So that presents a major problem. Autism rates skyrocketed out of control. Other childhood diseases are off the charts. You all are so easy to dismiss the correlation, but what if it is directly related?
You can't tell me that pumping kids full of mercury, aluminum and other dangerous chemicals 20-50 times directly into their body, doesn't cause issues. If anyone of you can actually stand by and defend that, well then you are unbelievable idiotic.

I guess people are just taking into account the attitude of the guy at the centre of this rumour. And the fact that it's his lawyer who was musing about the idea, is more fuel for that fire. Maybe he should keep his ridiculous ideas to himself. Especially as both countries have developed quite a culture of vaccine hesitancy.

Kennedy's lawyer filed the petition on behalf of Informed Consent Action Network, a group that questions vaccine safety. Is it that he was hired by this group to represent them? Just doing his job?
