A kidnapping then live stream of the torture of mentally challenged man on facebook from Chicago area. At least 4 suspects at least 18 now in custody. A couple of girls are alleged to have participated as well. At least one 30 minute video on youtube.

Racial and political remarks throughout incident. Possibility of hate crime charges as well.

Callous depravity to say the least.
 

Cruel. I could not make one bit of sense in the second (long) video. Either drunk, on drugs or both. Particularly upset over the fact the man is mentally disabled. They need to be punished.
 
If a mad dog bites someone, that dog is put down. No questions asked. No appeals. Just a needle and the animal is no longer a threat to man nor beast. In certain cases, this being one, there should be no day in court and no time in jail. A needle in the vein would put down each of these mad animals.

I do understand that we all have a right to a fair trial. When we have seen technology evolve to where criminals preying on their fellow man in cruel and violent fashion are digitally identifiable... just take care of the problem.

Victim was missing or held upto 48 hours. Suspects cut his forehead. One of the girls already has an adult criminal record.

Mixed emotions on hate crime charges in general because it could lead to over charging including a too high bar for prosecution and/or masks the real crimes. Could lead to an un-necessary acquittal or over sentencing. If found guilty all need the max.

Anyone that can act with that level of depravity against either a human or an animal is sick. Should the sick be killed? If retribution is the intent then surely a very extended period of imprisonment not a better way to gain retribution than what is simply euthanasia?

I suppose its a cultural thing. Those of us who have been brought up in a civilised humane culture find Judicial Execution as being even worse than what one individual does to another.

Judicial execution aka Judicial murder?

Would I feel different if it were one of mine who had been harmed? Quite possibly but thankfully our civilised society would protect me from descending into raw vengeance that would debase me if I did.
 
I don't believe in the death sentence BUT it does get disgusting when they let criminals back out that have already shown a proclivity towards things like kidnapping, rape, torture, etc. Just ONE example was a man that already had a record of grabbing females off the street and they let him back out into society where he kidnapped and tortured and 18 year old girl and a 10 year old girl before he was caught again. Two more people died because they let him back out. People who commit heinous crimes should never see the free light of day again or ever given parole IMO.

The death penalty has not proven itself to reduce these senseless violent acts. Instead, it just results in years of appeals that do little other than pad the pockets of the lawyers. Our prison system does little other than educate the inmates on how to conduct even more crimes when they are released. In this particular case, I would like to see these thugs placed in the general population in a prison where the Aryan Brotherhood is the dominant gang....that would insure that they get the justice they deserve.

The ongoing hatred of Donald Trump expressed by democrats is working in Chicago. Prior to Trump being elected and ongoing hate even expressed in various threads here without the F*** word carry the same hate message.

The victim’s name has not been released, but police have identified the man as an 18-year-old from suburban Chicago who suffers from “mental health challenges” and was reported missing by his parents on Monday. His assailants reportedly shouted racially charged taunts during the assault, including “F*** Donald Trump, f*** white people!” while they held the young man captive in an apartment and physically abused him.

Really Knight? I didn't draw that conclusion. They're calling it a hate crime but I'm thinking they refer to race plus the fact the young man has mental issues and was easy prey. This was a planned event to torment this young fellow and I don't believe politics had anything to do with it. Yes, I did hear them mention Trump's name but so what? They were trash talking, that was fairly obvious. We could say the racial undertones may stem from all the shootings of blacks over the past year or so but who knows? I am just glad he escaped with his life.
 
If what took place was not a hate crime be it political hate, racial hate, or disability hate then I'm a Dutchman.

I get what Knight is saying. It's pretty simple: that knife cuts both ways, Obama did things that stirred up a lot of anti-white racism, and much of it blatantly unfair. I don't think that was Obama's intent but he screwed up on some things and that was one of them. When you act on incorrect info, it seldom works out well.
 
It was a hate crime! And it didn't have anything to do with Trump. A normal person doesn't get upset about politics and torture another human being and post it live on social media. That kind of depravity doesn't just suddenly spring up over an election.

There aren't words bad enough to express how incredibly deplorable this incident was, and how despicable the perpetrators are. How can any human being think such acts are acceptable or amusing, as this group appears to have done? It boggles the mind, and makes me gag! I don't care what kind of awful things are going on in a person's life, there is absolutely nothing that excuses or mitigates the willful torture of another human being for entertainment. Nothing!!

I hope they throw these perpetrators in jail forever and throw away the key. And before anyone asks, yes -- I would feel the same way if the perpetrators were white and middle class -- there's a level of pure evil in this kind of behavior, no matter what the race, social strata, religion, sexual orientation or anything else.

As a direct result of the unwanted non-mandated and now very obviously failed multi-cultural experiment we now have a number of societies most of which do not see themselves as stake holders in what was once a national identity.

Political and racial elements in what they did. The words they used are text book democrat. Angry white men and Trump is a bigot, racist & will never be my president straight from many posts here parroted from Democratic rhetoric all through out the campaign.


Of course if you can turn a blind eye to the lies that were told to mute the impact of the deaths in Benghazi you can deny anything that points out the truth that democrats helped generate the hate towards white people & Trump.

Text book Democrat? I'm appalled at such a comment. There is no justification for their behavior either by black or white communities. Such cruelty to a helpless human being --don't attempt to use politics as a reason.
 
Watch the Investigation Discovery channel sometime. There are many sad and sadistic stories about groups of sadistic weirdos finding some poor unfortunate person to torture, humiliate , and kill. It doesn't really matter what they were chanting or yelling. They are sadistic people with faulty heads looking for a way to let that out. Doesn't have anything at all to do with politics it has everything to do with sadistic, demented , twisted minds. Whatever they were chanting was just an excuse to let out the ugly that was already buried in their minds. Maybe it justifies their insanity to them who knows. Sadism and lunacy is not restricted to any ethnic background or color. It might make more headlines & cause more debates if it's blamed on politics or races, but what it really boils down to is rage filled sadists looking to get that special 'fix'. There are so many stories just as bad as this and worse on the ID channel & they are true stories that never got much media attention, but this one will grab more attention because politics are raw right now.
As I said before ..heinous crimes I don't care who did it or what their color or political affiliation is - lock them up and never let them out again.

Not text book democrat -- that's ridiculous and obscene!! I know an awful lot of democrats, and many of them mad as hell, but the idea that any of them would condone this kind of behavior is indeed obscene. Don't try to blame this kind of abominable behavior on Trump, or Obama, or anyone else but the sadistic, racist perpetrators.
 
More information. The 24 year old women suspect is a mother of two. At least one suspect try to extort $300 from the mother of the victim during the kidnapping.

And when the defense was giving the judge reasons for bond they tried telling the judge one of the 18 year olds cares for his brother in a wheel chair-huh? Along with saying the other 18 year old male has a job & goes to church with his grand mother. Give me a break.

Bond was DENIED!
