Know any pet psychics or mediums?

On the Internet many pet psychics say that they can get in contact with your cat or dog passed on.

It sounds very strange to me since cats and dogs do not share our language anyway. Psychics

will do this for you on the phone or even email. Is it a scam? I try to be open minded about ESP.

Do you know anyone who has had success with it? The psychic would have to reveal something that
only you could have known.

Funny you should ask. :) The last 20 years I have spent a lot of time researching things that are sort of "off the wall". I print off or write down a lot of my findings and put them in file cabinets or notebooks. I have no idea WHY, I just enjoying doing it.

First off, I think most of these people are scam artists. Some, I'm not so sure about. A gal I know well, told me she could talk to animals so I asked her to talk to our little dog Paco. Paco passed away a few years ago but he was still alive when she says she communicated with him. He was a small black and white Chihuahua. Our oldest son was driving down the mountain one day and this little dog came around a curve running up the road facing him. He stopped and picked him up as it was a deserted area and lots of predators about. The dog had ticks and was a mess. He took him home and cleaned him up. The dog lived with our son and grandson most of the time but every winter when we had our glass front wood stove going he'd want to stay at our house and lay in front of the fire. He was our "winter dog" :). So this lady talked to him in a telepathic way and I don't even think they used words or any language. She translated over to me what he said. And by the way, I did not pay for this service, this was just an experiment and she doesn't work professionally. I told her I wanted to know where in the world he came from and why he was running down the road in the mts and why did he act like he knew my son when he stopped to pick him up. She said that she didn't know if he didn't remember or if he was referring to my husband and I or if he used to live with old people because he told her he came from the "old People" and that is where he had been at the time, at our house. She also said one of his back legs hurt him (I forget which one) and so I told her, he did often run on 3 legs. He also told her his best friend was (I forget which one) and he named one of our cats or showed her what it looked like or whatever. So I don't really know, I can't make a decision on this, I'm just saying what happened.
 
I am usually very skeptical, but I was hoping that one of you would be encouraging or hopeful.
The whole idea sounds ridiculous to most people, I agree, but even if there was a small chance...
My sense is that pet psychics either know it is a scam or they actually believe their own BS
out of wishful thinking and justification of their work.

Victor, why don't you post a pic of your cat and I'll (and anyone else who wants to) focus on it for awhile and see if I can pick up anything. I've never done this before but I love to try new things and conduct experiments. If you have a question about your cat, that will make it easier for me. Also I need to know it's name.
 
Scam or not... it serves to make people happy.. Not unlike religion.. People gladly put money in the collection plate for the same purpose don't they? Comfort and consolation.. Some would argue that that is also a scam but these things serve a purpose so who's to say.
 
Well, now I'm afraid to say I am serious. I was "playfully serious", how does that sound? I am a reiki master and if you put your cat's photo on here I plan to send it good energy that's all. I can do it through time and distance but that sounds crazy to a lot of people. Anyway, I was just going to see what happens if I do that. Maybe I'll pick something up and maybe I won't. I don't know. I've never worked with animals (only humans) before except our own and that was just to help them when they were sick. I've never tried to pick up their thoughts or anything.
 
My two cats have passed on, sadly. I did not mention that before.
I miss them very much. I am grasping at straws.

I'm sorry your cats have passed on Victor. Some people believe our pets go over to the other side and are the first ones to meet us when we die. I don't know if that's true or not, but it's a comforting thought sometimes.

Reiki is a type of energy massage and those are my words, I know others would describe it differently. By the time you are a reiki master you are suppose to be able and willing to teach reiki to others. Even though one of my kids is a school teacher I would never try to teach anyone anything. I am not good at explaining things and I have no patience trying to teach the simplest things. In my next life I'll learn patience as I don't seem to be doing it in this one. :)

Victor have you gotten yourself another pet? I know there are so many homeless cats and dogs out there who would really thrive living with a loving kind person. You sound like a nice guy, when the time is right, maybe you should think of getting another pet.
