I went to the hairdressers a total of 6 times and only once did I received the hairstyle I really wanted (my hair had suffered damages from prescribed medication). The second time I wanted an easy wash and wear (nope, 2 tonnes of hairspray, which I'm allergic too -- also happened at sibling's wedding -- curlers the lot), turned out after washing my hair was flatter than flat, bummer.
The 4 visits to get exactly my wedding day hair as the bride, were ruined. You specifically tell the hairdresser what you're looking for aka large curls and they give you the wrong perm.
So, after the last disaster after daughter was born, I'd needed a natural wig to let my own hair recuperate and recover. Nowadays, I do my own hair. I've a diamond shaped face and I don't like hair down my back anymore.
As I hit 60 a while back, I've tried an A-Line Haircut and my fringe is angled to curl back up and give lift on top. This video will help if you dare
