I think you have them described pretty well, actually Accurate!
Sometimes I wish they would tone Angela down a bit, gets on your nerves after awhile but I suppose
she is meant to so you feel Tommy's frustrations. Their interactions can be so amusing though.
I think this is Billy Bob Thornton's best role ever.
I read where when Thornton heard Sam Elliott was joining the cast, he cried from joy.
This is my top series to watch. I am a big Thornton fan anyway.

Yeah, Angela is high maintenance for sure, but her vivacious ways does seem to interject wild unpredictable fun into the mix. Maybe that's what Tommy adores her for. I think maybe she realizes the stress of his job and knows that he needs distraction from that, and whether he admits it or not, he could use a little culture in his life. Neither of them have any filter, so it's pretty much two wildcats screaming at each other, and then once the pressure is released, their love seems to bubble back to the surface.

Right now I make a connection with the tough power battles for control of big oil with the middle east war. Oil. How long and how many people have been killed because of big money and the oil industry. Landman can't help but hook the flight or fight emotions in the viewer.

I enjoy the show, mostly because of Billy Bob and recently added Sam Elliot! Two of my all time fav actors!

Angela (Ali Larter) ... what can I say, I love/hate her :ROFLMAO: She's a bit much. I remember her all the way back to Heros!

The daughter is even worse - I really don't much care for her. Why does she hate her brother so much? Have they ever explained that, and I missed it?

Not a big fan of Demi Moore of late, and she's quite the B on this show. I think she has had TOO much work done - another Hollywood Alien in the making.

Kayla is fun - She has grown on me.

Not a huge fan of the Cooper and Ariana combo - quite an odd couple in my humble opinion.

also looking forward to the next season :)

Bobcat you forgot about Monty & Cami Miller. Also part of the main cast.

Frankly I can't stand Angela & Ainsley. I love the show though. Also waiting for the next season.
You're right, I did forget about those two.
Monty sure got them into a mess, and now Cami is hell bent on fixing it, but determined to do it her own way.
But to be fair, Monty even had to let Tommy know who was in charge a few times as well.
(At least that's the point I am at now in the series)
