Laptop verses phone for posting and reading forums...

I use mainly a laptop with WIN 10. I also have an Androind that I use also. I have commented and posted pics with it to the forum. It is more cumbersome for me to use the phone. Interestingly,

I have a Zoom meeting each month and usually use the laptop. Yesterday I used the Android phone. We have satellite internet, and any live streaming has a delay that is bad. So, I was just using chat on my laptop connection...no video, or audio, my phone has a day plan, so I tried the data connection with my phone. I must say...it worked really well, I was surprised.

Most of the time I’m on a tablet due to the convenience and mobility while allowing me a bigger screen than I‘d get with a phone. The iPad I’m on now gives me a comfortably big screen, plus I can do 90% of what I could on a laptop… 😉

I use my iPhone when out and about but at home it's a 27" iMac. As a Professional Photographer I need to see my photos, and those of others I'm asked to evaluate/feed back on with a good and large colour balanced screen. It does frustrate me that a lot of the people I'm showing my stuff to are on tiny screens.

I have never owned a laptop, and in the few times that I have used them I was not impressed.
My desktop has a nice 27" screen that I do like. My keyboard is an EZsee which has large letters on the keys.

At one time I had a desktop hooked up to display on my TV screen. Worked well with a cordless keyboard until the association switched providers.

A large iPad with the Cell works well when traveling, the iPad has a
better Antenna and while locked with the Phone LTE, both work well.
Set it for low Data Usage but if you don't care about charges rock the
music or Videos. It mostly equals the costs of Internet's separate charge.

I have a phone that stays turned off and in my purse... emergency use only. So laptop for forum (and everything else!) for me.
Except when I take the dog out for a daily walk, my phone is shut off and on the kitchen table. I usually read and post on forums on my desktop computer, but have the option to use the laptop if needed. Never post using the phone, for me it's jus for phone calls, usually short ones to my husband.
