Last Person On Earth

I was looking through my pictures and came across this one and looked long and hard at it. It does pose and interesting question and I thought it would be telling at some of the answers if I posted this here. What would you do?29177134_10204406222311883_5520550524744630272_n.jpg

Now, Marci, I doubt that I'd be looking for life in any form on an empty highway. And, come to think of it, there'd be vehicles all over the place. By the way, there are also many new car dealers along most major highways today. This is only a thought of what would be the first thing I'd do. Have to ponder my next moves.

1st. would be to see if electricity was still working. Next since I don't have a means of defense against critters that are meat eaters I'd look for a store that has weapons. Then like lewkat start exploring. With electricity refrigerated food would still be available. Pumping gas at gas stations would still be possible. Then as an atheist many years later I might ponder why I was the only person left alive.

I’d wonder or try to find out how I knew I was the last person on Earth. At the same time I’d also be assessing what were the circumstances of this state. If everyone else had just disappeared I’d stay put, break into stores to get what I needed and wanted and then choose my course of action from there. I’d probably travel to somewhere I love such as Yosemite or Carmel.

If everyone was dead but still there I’d travel to a less populated area (Carmel area sounds good again) and then do something like I’d do if they disappeared.

I'd find the nearest Lamborghini dealership, grab a hot one, gas it up, and hit the road to see all the sights that I wanted to. I'd make sure I was well-provisioned and well-armed (at least as much as I could cram into that tight vehicle) because, sooner or later, the wildlife would be checking out areas they formerly avoided because of the past presence of people.

I kind of liked, "The Last Man On Earth," on TV, but he was a very goofy guy, and I'm far more grounded.
