In a 72-page report “Children: The Attack on the Donetsk Regional Academic Drama Theatre in Mariupol” Amnesty International documented how the Russian military likely deliberately targeted the theater knowing hundreds of civilians were sheltering there, making the attack a clear war crime. The document says the bombs were likely 400-800 kg, and were dropped on the theater on March 16, 2022, even though local people had written the Russian word for “children” in giant Cyrillic letters on the sides and front of the building, clearly visible to Russian planes, drones, and satellite imagery.

The Associated Press estimated as many as 600 men, women, and children were hunkered in the basement of the theater on the day of and at the time of the bombing. Amnesty International is urging the bombing be officiallly classified as a war crime.

It seems a-bit strange to me that , the west as they refer to us / UK/ etc, isn't rushing in with troops weapons etc ? It seems that , in my lifetime almost anytime a country is invaded a "swarm" of other countries swoop down on them , fairly early on , to help the one being invaded .

remember Afghanistan...just left our own people there...thousands of them...this is horrible
