I am so disappointed this evening. I just found out my angelically quiet neighbors are going to leave me next month. I can't fault them. They're young and starting their life together and found a house. That means I will have to worry about whether or not the new neighbor(s) the landlord finds will be quiet again. ~Deep sigh~

Taco Bell has a drink that looks interesting to me so I think today will be taco Tuesday. Groceries will be here between 1p - 3p. I found an old serving tray I picked up somewhere and I think it will be good for holding my smaller diamond art projects while i work on them.

Plan to play video games today. I need to keep working to get this big tv box broke down so I can get it into the trash. I need to get rid of my car stuff too since I don't plan to have another vehicle. It's just sitting here in the way. I don't know if I can put the 2 four way tire irons in the trash so I might just put them in the basement.

I'm gonna go make some tea.

Well, today I played some Roots of Pacha and started on Disney Dreamlight Valley. The Harvest Moon game I was so excited about kinda sucks. Either later or tomorrow I'm gonna start my House Flipper game.

Tomorrow I gotta go to town for my meds and for some shoes. Then I have nothing planned for the rest of vacation. 😁

I made some sugar free hot cocoa and it was yummy. I was in the mood for it. Plus it was chilly in the apt. Our high was only 62 today.

Since we were talking about soup in another thread I was craving soup so I stocked up on some. Great Value from Walmart makes some heat and serve like Progresso now.

I'm getting caught up on my stuff on my watch list on Paramount. I was two episodes behind on everything. LOL!
 
I'm awake. I'm having a cup of cocoa then I will likely make myself some coffee. We may have had some rain this morning. It's cloudy and the high will be 63. I'll be going to town around 1p.

Last night I ended up playing a little bit of Cozy Grove before going to bed. I went to bed early. I have dishes to do today and I think I'm going to have fish for dinner tonight. I like the frozen breaded fish. I got a little ice cream from the store yesterday too as a treat.

Planning to play some House Flipper today. Not sure what else.
 
I'm on day 3 and so far it's been lovely. I wish it was longer.

They didn't have much shoe selection so I only got one pair for my fat hooves. I got a work discount which helped. I got my meds picked up and I'm home waiting on KFC to be delivered. They really went up on their prices. I am actually shocked. If the chicken were better I could maybe see it. I think I'm gonna hafta give up on take out. It's getting way too expensive.

I'm better off just making stuff at home even if it's hot pockets in the microwave. LOL! I was looking at the prices on the buckets of chicken. Twelve piece family meal is $35. That's with no drinks either. I remember getting all that for $10 before. Cripes!

My Uber driver on the way home from the shoe store was fun. Some of them are really nice and humorous to ride with. I have some that are my favorites.

Gonna eat and watch tv. I still need to work on getting this bloody tv box broke down. Stupid thing is huge.

it's funny you mentioning KFC... because I have several real life American friends ( colleagues at the studio).. and they all say the KFC tastes so much better here than it does in the states.... which is very strange given that the US is it's Birthplace... and technically the recipe should be the same world wide...

I like KFC .. here in the UK.. Never having tried it in the US I can't speak for it myself.. but the most delicious KFC I ever had was in Spain...

I think it's a food quality issue. In the US they use cheap products and charge all outdoors for the stuff.
 
I got about half that tv box cut down & got my chicken ate with some for later. Watched American Made with Tom Cruise. Just kinda sittin here chillin out. Kinda sleepy.

I found that KFC tasted better in Australia, and in general, I thought their meats were tastier. I suppose it has to do with the feed the animals are given.
 
The food throughout the world, as I have read on several forums has decidedly different standards as for acceptable prep and ingredients, among other things. I know KFC here is nowhere near as good as it once was. This can be said of most food chains, unfortunately. The US is not known to be as healthy or well prepped/cared for as it was when I worked in the food industry (1980s). And especially nowadays. I won't hardly eat fast food anymore. Don't even get me started! Lol...

there is very little of it that tastes good and doesn't upset my stomach anymore.
 
Morning. I tried to sleep. I think I had a little cat nap. I can't seem to figure out what is causing a healthy leak in my cpap therapy. I have put on a 4th swivel elbow on the tubing and if that doesn't work then I'm guessing it's these new masks. They are the silicone ones except they have a foam cushion on the edge for more comfort and unless I strap it down like a medieval torture device, it's just gonna keep leaking.

I'm not getting much out of my cpap therapy with a 24L a minute air leak. I've replaced all the equipment so I don't know what else to do. Getting rather frustrated with it. I might have to go back to the other masks. 😩

I have one last package coming today I guess. Otherwise just video games and tv. I still have a little chicken left from last night with mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw. I will toast a bagel and put butter on it in place of the biscuits since I finished those last night.

I am thoroughly enjoying The Gilded Age. I spent the rest of the night watching it last night and I'm not done yet. *rubs hands together*
 
I have been watching Gilded Age most of the day. I just started Season 3. I took a little catnap this afternoon on the couch. I didn't even realize I had dozed off.

It's cold and rainy tonight. Forecast is for 51 and more rain tomorrow. Might take a hot bath tomorrow. Maybe read.
 
Couldn’t get into Gilded Age no matter how much I tried. Gave up but fell unexpectedly and wildly in love with Season Three! Don’t need to try again with Season Two and one. Content.
