Learning How To Live Life

@Pepper I noticed quite a few actors I have seen in other things and haven't seen for quite a while. I've enjoyed it very much. The plump gossip monger lady cracks me up.

Having some coffee and continuing my binge watch. I have dishes and more washing to do but not much else. I am loathe to return to work on Monday.

I think I may be on the verge of a sinus infection so I am having to give my cpap therapy a break. I can't breathe well enough to use it. I finally slept a little last night. But still quite tired.

I've been trying to find a single player shooter game on xbox. I found one that is both single and multiplayer. So I will probably get it this evening if the price is right. I enjoy sniper games. I just prefer single player games. No cheating in those. It scratches that itch I have to play those games.

The multiplayer games are filled with toxic players and cheating that is so bad the games are basically unplayable even for very skilled players. I only last about 5 minutes in Fortnite so I finally said the hell with it.

A coworker is calling me and I don't know why. I'm hoping he's just double checking on when I'm coming back to work. He's my ride.

I do not want to go back Monday. It will make me sad.

So I finished Gilded Age. And started Beyond The Gates. I find it amusing that they always do these soap operas with rich society people. Just once I'd like to see one with regular slightly poor folk working at McDonald's and stuff. Two girls eating their burgers and talking about kicking some girls ass for ratting on them to the boss or whatever.

Or some old gal with no pension winning the lottery and being able to quit her housekeeping job and retire. Or a handicap guy getting a job as an IT tech and being able to take care of himself. Something a little more reasonable and relatable.

Getting ready to try to sleep and starting the Beyond The Gates soap opera.

Passionately watching Beyond the Gates from day one. These past few weeks have been keeping up only sporadically much to my frustrations nut as long as I see them talking basically know what they’re saying or thinking i fo k

Morning. I got a little sleep last night. I think I have a sinus infection. Not one hundred percent sure but my sinuses are a mess at the moment. I've been cleaning them twice a day and I'm a bit miserable but not as bad as usual. Hopefully it will clear up on it's own.

My coworker had called just to check on me. I thought that was nice of him. I hadn't been answering calls or texts from coworkers because I didn't want to discuss or think about work. I'm still busy relaxing. LOL!

I'm going to get up soon and get something hot to drink and move to the living room. I am having an awful time with dry skin and dry scalp. I've tried a couple things but I don't know. My scalp is getting so bad it's itchy all the time. I'm gonna switch to a different product with moisturizers in it as suggested online.

Gonna try to use the humidifier more but trying to get some more immediate relief for the time being. Getting desparate enough today to put hand lotion and cortisone cream on my scalp. My dry skin has gotten worse as I age. It's annoying. I drink water 90% of my day. I don't moisturize daily but may have to start. Preferrably before I turn to dust. LMBO!

I tried a lot of things for dry/itchy scalp & years ago the lady who cuts my hair told me to use Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo which works well. Since then, Sally's Beauty Supply came out with a generic that is just as good that I use now. I don't use it everyday, but just once or twice a week if I feel an itch come on. Generally I use Shea Moisture Black Castor Oil shampoo as my go to.

The best thing I've found for dry scalp is just plain organic coconut oil for deep conditioning. Just rub coconut oil into your scalp & cover it with a plastic bag or a throw-away shower cap. Then wrap a towel around that to keep it warm. The oil will melt & coat your hair helping it too. Just wear an old shirt in case the oil drips a little. After an hour or so, just wash your hair as usual.

I use the Aldi organic coconut oil in a jar, it's the same you would cook with. Once in a while I'll find fresh ginger that I'll grate a little & mix it in with the coconut oil. It smells good & makes my scalp feel good. I'll store the whole ginger in the freezer until I need it.

I get dry skin in winter & I found fragrance free products by Gold Bond or Curel Itch-Defense work good. My favorite is Marcha Labs Wood Wax Cream which is very thick & contains lanolin in it. I find a little goes a long ways & I don't have to use it everyday. You can order it directly from Marcha Labs or on Amazon.

@Lilac I'm gonna try some Dove moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and they also have a moisturizing body wash. The Dove has a product in the shampoo and conditioner that was listed to help with dry scalp. I have an olive oil in a spray bottle for dry scalp I've been using too. I told my friend on the phone today I'm gonna turn into a dust bunny and blow away. LOL! I also saw online that diuretics can cause dry skin too so I'm sure that's not helping.

I was thinking back to a thread where someone said they ignore all the ads on tv for meds and would never get those meds. I usually do too but, when I saw the ad for Stiolto for COPD, I went to my primary and asked if we could try that since I didn't have a pulmo doc at the time. It has been a good medication so far.

Gonna watch tv and have leftover pizza from yesterday. I ordered a few things for delivery tomorrow like those moisturizing products I mentioned before. Will try my new game later today.

I started Sniper Elite 5 and after it auto saved I thought I could shut it down. I think it will make me start over and I'll have to make sure I do a manual save from now on. So far I like the game.

Watching Beyond the Gates & sitting here with the cpap on. My o2 sats are ok but I feel a little short of breath so allowing the air to help. If it gets worse I'll call the pulmo doc and let him know so he sends over some antibiotic. That's what he told me to do.

I will likely do some more gaming in a bit.

The new neighbors to my west are having a party. It will be interesting to see how late it goes and how noisy it gets. They've been quiet all this time so hopefully they won't be bad. Oy!

morning. last day of vacation. i could use another week. oh well.

waiting on groceries to be delivered and getting ready to get some coffee and head into the living room to watch a church service. football is on at noon. i didn't pay attention to who was playing. then i have a couple things to catch up with on paramount.

i have a few dishes to wash, i have to shower for tomorrow and do a little washing. the laundry got backed up before vacation.

might game some more today.

Watching the KC game. There's a list of several games on Paramount today. Not sure which I will be seeing and when. Still trying to figure out the schedule on there.

I'm having meatloaf and mash potatoes with gravy and broccoli/cauliflower mix for dinner in a bit.

After football I gotta watch the new episodes of Tulsa King and Landman.

I started to rewatch Landman season 1 yesterday & got up to episode 5 so I have 3 left. I seen a few things that I missed the first time.
I'll watch the new one out after those.

I don't think we will be disappointed in this season.

I was watching the KC game up until they took their first touchdown away from them for supposedly holding. Then I got mad and turned it off. I watched Tulsa King, ate lunch and now I'm gonna shower and watch Landman.

Be back later.

I have decided to give Sims 4 another shot. I will have to look up information if I get stuck. Some of these games are really hard to figure out.

I also want to get Assassin's Creed: Rogue before they pull it from the online store. I will have to play those games on weekends off when I can sit and play through til I reach a save point maybe?

The first Assassin's Creed game has a glitch where at one point I am fighting an invisible man with a sword. I didn't even see the sword coming at me. I was just all of a sudden getting my ass kicked. LOL!

Well, I'm gonna say goodnight here. Back to work tomorrow. Gotta have some way to pay for some of these games. ;)
