Learning To Live Without A Microwave Oven

If I were tp buy a small microwave I would be tempted by this one. But its only 800 watts and I prefer 1200 watts.

I try to keep my crumb tray cleaned out in my toaster, maybe I do it too much.
I do not want to have to throw out the toaster like I did the toaster oven.
The toaster oven still worked. It was me that was not working properly!
Come on, french fries in a toaster oven. I could have burnt my house down!

Yes there was a fire inside the toaster oven, I unplugged it, the fire went out.
Must have been from the oils in the french fries.
It still worked afterwards but I did not want to risk harming myself or anyone I would give it to.
After it cooled down, I threw the toaster oven in the trash with the fries still in it.

I never liked microwaves, and rarely used any.
Since I've been in current apartment, though, I use it regularly- because this place is my first/only experience with an electric stove and I have great difficulty with it.

I use the microwave at least 3 times a day. Without it I would spend a lot of time and extra dishes warming things on a stove.

Microwave radiation is low energy radiation, with wavelength between AM radio waves and visible light. You would only be in trouble if their were a giant microwave and you jumped inside it and turned it on.

My microwave oven rusted through recently so bought another from Home Depot that has been fine thus far.

@David777 After using, do you wipe the inside of your microwave to get rid of condensation and leave the door open for 10-20 minutes so it dries out? The first microwave I owned started to rust inside, when I replaced it, that was the advice I was given and, I have never had a problem with subsequent microwaves.
