Born in that beautiful Island under the Land down under. Stunningly green with temperate rainforest.
If you want to, google Tarkine Tasmania for a stunning look at a portion of my birthplace.
Not familiar with posting images here yet but maybe I will work it out eventually

Currently living in Perth Western Australia. A huge state 2.64 million sq km in size. Tasmania would fit inside this state 20 times.
Very hot here in the summer with temperatures up to 47 C, 118 F.
I love going out into the bush, taking pictures of our wildlife and landscape.
Not able to do that just now though. Broke my ankle at work and will be out of action for several months

Yeah, something is working as it should.
Some guy from the Northern Hemisphere introduced me to this site. 😆
Somewhere for me to go if the other site does not rectify it's changes.
How did you find my post, what search method is there here?

Welcome...I have friends in Tasmania.. Devonport and Launceston...( both the same name places as here in the South West of England

You'll be in good company here and we have a good few Oz members as well..

You won't be able to post pictures until you've been a member for 7 days and have at least 30 posts under your belt...

Hello Hollydolly
Thank you for welcoming me here.
Eventually I will work out how to post pictures and can show the members here the beauty of Tasmania and Australia.
Posting pictures is easy...see attach files. Was unaware you had to post a certain amount stuff before you could..but I’ve been here as long as I’ve been on the other two places.Long forgotten.
i think you’ve worked out ‘What’s New(i had never noiced that)! And ‘new posts’.

G'day Thank you for welcoming me to this site.
There are so many Kangaroos around where I live. Never fail to see them when I venture into the bush. I have plenty of pictures of them as well.
When I am eligible, and have worked out how to, I will be posting plenty of animal, birds and landscape pictures that I have taken.
I love to share the beauty that is Australia.

Welcome! You sound like an interesting fella!
Thank you for welcoming me here.
I suppose I am interesting in as much as I go out into the Aussie bush and capture the beauty of what I experience via my camera.
Amateur photos, so much to see out here. Really special because most of the time I am out there alone, no crowds making a noise.
I love the serenity of sitting under a Gum Tree on the banks of the river, watching nature go about it's business

Thank you Devi.
I am sure I will love this site once I work out how it operates.
If I can ask you one question about the site, where do I view my profile so I can add some stuff about me and upload a profile picture.
Please and thank you

G'day from Australia.
Thank you for welcoming me to this site
As a Scot, born and raised, from Irish ancestry , Just a quick question... if you were born in Tasmania... how are you Irish ? :ROFLMAO:
Fair Question, My way back family is originally from County Roscommon.
I think an Ancestor came to Australia via the convict route ;)
