There was no sarcastic comment.
There was a comment filled with shock and surprise when you stated that this sock/puppet membership thing only happened when you were talking about it back last September.

You asked me to stop talking about it which I did yet you are still talking about it. šŸ™

Perhaps you should stop also if thatā€™s what you really want to do

It's hard not to reply when a poster calls you ignorant. uninformed, etc. It's called defending yourself.

That's a shame. We had so many plans for this year but, it's going by so quickly, I doubt we will be able to fit everything in!
 
I think we should all pause a moment and look at the wood instead of peering through the trees.
The person who is accused of "stalking" is a lovely person and as far as I can see no stalking has occurred on this forum.

This person is being wrongfully maligned. Please do not join in with the accusations.
Since when it is unlawful for someone to contribute to a thread even though they are blocked by another?
Common sense people... use your head for goodness sake.

Some words of wisdom there perhaps. And of Logic, and of good advice.

Maybe... even words of someone who too can see ā€˜patternsā€™ forming. Patterns created by a select number of individuals throughout the forum. Thankfully though, just a small number of individuals.

Yes....there is certainly a packleader (quite common on many platforms).
The sad thing is...the ones who follow the packleader are doing themselves a great injustice.
It is preventing them from enjoying a wider variety of perspectives from a greater number of people.
If one has self confidence, feels good about themselves and wish to engage with normal people, a packleader is not necessary.

What.The.Hell is going on? Seriously, what?

Just a few weeks ago (maybe several) I was commenting about how I couldn't see any bullying, or cliquish behavior here and that is one of the things I love about this forum.

Admittedly, I have since blocked a few people for personal reasons having nothing whatever to do with the wider forum or any particular groups of people.

Now, lots of people seem to be talking in suggestion and innuendo about whose doing what to whom. For real, what the freaking hell is going on?

Can't we just put it out there?

Side Note: I say this with love to the few peeps who have PM'd me in the past informing me of the apparent evils of other members: Stop that, please. I don't want to hear it. ā™„ Love. But seriously, I don't want to hear it.

Really, what's going on, though?

Obviously, I am not going to impart personal information and observations. That would be unethical.

However, I will say this: how can a person on a forum be stalked in full view of everyone on the forum?

Stalking can only be done if the accused person is doing it through the Private Messaging system.
Think about it.

Stalking occurs on many levels. Think about it.
 
I think healthy debates are good.
Makes us realize that there are other views, other information that we may not have that could influence our opinion on topics.
I think moderators are too heavy handed sometimes based on their own views and experiences, but someone has to do it.
I think the line should be drawn at name calling. Nothing good comes from that.
I know politics is taboo on here but it shouldn't be. We are in a bad place in history right now because of politics so the topic shouldn't be hidden, because then nefarious politics thrive.

Well, if we can't do that, speak openly and directly about the people being alluded to, maybe then don't. Don't insinuate, allude, or suggest, if you can't state outright. As the post says (and as @Trish reaffirmed), just leave it.

EDIT: I was just taking some laundry out of the machine (visual context is necessary for some reason) and realized I've actually done the same thing I'm talking about above on asking "people who have PM'd me" about others not to. -- So, I'll leave it too.
