There are three companies that make and distribute Cochlear Implants but the biggest, oldest company is simply called COCHLEAR and does 85 % of the world market. A Aussie doctor pioneered the implant quite a few years ago. Any guess on who will supply my CI? I have joined a On Line Support Group of people with CI or that have children with CI's There are several thousand on the forum. If you want to see something that will bring tears to your eyes, it's a video on You Tube of a two year old born deaf that is hearing anything for the first time. The smile on his face is heart renching

Thank you we will take credit for that Lon South Australia ( where I live ) is also leading the research into breast cancer .
