Jimmy Smits from NYPD Blue.

Once I wanted to invest some money so I went to a brokerage firm and was ushered into an office and was greeted by a man who was the spitting image of Jimmy Smits. I was so flustered that I'm not sure I even listened to what he was saying. I think I stuttered something about having to think about his recommendations, shook his hand and left. I never did go with his firm...there was no way I could discuss stocks and bonds and look at him at the same time.

Oh YESSS! I remember the first time I saw him. It was in the movie Running Scared where he played a ruthless, but generous drug lord. I said to my friend how beautiful he was, but she couldn't see past the part he was playing. Later I had an online friend who called herself Candyfashion (may she R.I.P.). She indicated in a post, probably about if you knew anyone famous, that Jimmy was her brother-in-law!

BTW, I know how you must've felt. My boss called me early one morning and told me I was about to get a ticket. Thank God I left the placard with the Health Department number in my window. This officer, God bless him, took the time to call so as to possibly avoid giving me a ticket for being parked by the yellow line across from our apartments. When I got outside I was stunned to find that the officer looked just like Tom Selleck, who at the time I thought was the handsomest man I'd ever seen on T.V. He did not write the ticket. Of course I thanked him, probably profusely.
