Several years ago, we went to a restaurant that featured WWII paraphernalia, and posters. One of the young men who was with us, a lad who grew up with my son, did not get some of what he thought was a lot of useless propaganda.

I told him, Dave, that propaganda was seen by all of us daily wherever we went during WWII. Never underestimate how valuable those sayings were. I am sure that if he didn't get it then, certainly, we are the last generation who would understand this one's meaning. It is a good one though.
