We're all so glad you're better!

Glad to hear you are doing better. A lot of seniors die from pneumonia. What I know about A-Fib is that it's very dangerous and does cause strokes which can lead to death. I remember when Arnold Palmer had it pretty bad and now I understand that Abdul-Jabbar has it as does approximately 5% of the population in the U.S.

I was in the hospital for 10 days back in January for back surgery. They put all kinds of junk into my lower lumbar spine and sent me home with a half paralyzed left leg and pneumonia, which also gave me thrush from my inhaler. There are times when you can follow the doctors' orders and still end up with added issues.

That's what happened to me. I knew all was not right, but tried to tough it out. Typical nurse, by the way.

I imagine you will be on some type of medication for the rest of your life. I think Arnold Palmer used Xarelto. He endorsed it on TV. I liked Arnie. I met him when he came to Hershey to play in a tournament that was setup for the proceeds to go to the new (at that time) wing for the Penn State Pediatric Hospital in Hershey. I was assigned to his security team. He had a lot of stories to tell and had us laughing until we had tears in our eyes. He was 87 when he died.
