Lipstick - Do you still wear it?

As a young woman I used makeup sparingly and almost never at home. I was fortunate enough to never have any skin problems and only wear it because it was expected . I haven't, however, worn it for over 20 years recently. Below; me at 29 with pale lipstick only.

Pretty picture..

I am the same as you, I've been fortunate never to have had skin problems... and unlike many here my lips haven't disappeared nor do they crack, so I've never had to use Lip Balm... However all that said.. my under eyes have become wrinkly, and I thought that I didn't need to wear any concealer when I have my sunglasses on... but today I saw a picture of me taken today.. and guess what ?.. I can see those wrinkles clear as day..right behind my glasses...

Anyone remember "Tangee" lipstick we used to buy at Woolworth's as kids?
It used to change the color of your lips to orange!
So, when did you ladies start to use lipstick?
I don't remember any girlfriends wearing it until high school
and that's pretty much when I inadvertently started wearing it too

anyway this thread reminds me of my 'caption this' submission

ive never worn much makeup, as ive never known how to use it LOL
but now ive started wearing foundation , and ive started wearing lipstick,, ive gone for the copper colour, which quite suits me and brings the whiteness out in my teeth....

Do you still wear it? I tend to put it on every time I go somewhere, even for a walk. It just makes me feel a little better. I need a bit of colour.

Yesterday we were going out and I made sure I had a comb and lipstick in my purse. Across the restaurant, there was a lady applying her lipstick at their dinner table. She had the mirror and obviously this was a normal routine for her. It doesn’t seem so common to see women refreshing their lipstick, even in the restroom, anymore. Maybe younger people don’t wear lipstick much now. Have you noticed.
I quit wearing all makeup several years ago. I use moisturizer and lip balm. Feels much cleaner, putting on makeup always felt dirty to me. I am all about simplicity and comfort now.

I was 16, and the lipstick was white or very pale pink. I wasn't allowed to wear it, but I did at school. It went along with the shorter skirts I wasn't allowed to wear. Here's the drill: On the bus on the way to school, the skirt was rolled up at the top, and the lipstick was applied. 🙃 On the way home, the skirt was rolled down, and the lipstick was wiped off. 🙂

I very much enjoy and also wear lipsticks. Often a light coating of my
favorite shades and followed with some gloss, or just a smear of vasoline
over my lips. My lips look naturally colored is my best description, nothing
outlandish, just subtle
