Lipstick - Do you still wear it?

I use it because I like the added color and the moisture but now I go for natural colors instead of the reds and pinks I wore years ago..

I still wear lipstick everyday because I'm always out somewhere and being seen. Lipstick makes me feel complete more than anything else. I can shove my unwashed hair up under a hat, wear shades to hide my unmade up eyes and as long as my lips are "done" I feel okay. It covers a multitude of sins for me.

I was 16, and the lipstick was white or very pale pink. I wasn't allowed to wear it, but I did at school. It went along with the shorter skirts I wasn't allowed to wear. Here's the drill: On the bus on the way to school, the skirt was rolled up at the top, and the lipstick was applied. 🙃 On the way home, the skirt was rolled down, and the lipstick was wiped off. 🙂

Mine was called Candied Violet by Revlon.
Loved it!

Had a major aversion to make-up from a very early age. One relative over abused it. Gramps used to say: "That's applied and removed with a trowel, it's that bad..."

Kissing her cheeks was like putting your lips into a pot of foundation. White plaster of Paris, red blush two circles and Betty Boop style lips. Fir someone with visual priblems, it was scary to see these red lips in a white face coming at you.

To this day, I loathe clowns -- yup, it was very similar...

I used to have base, blush and lipstick. It's down to lipstick only nowadays. Yes, I've three favourite colours!
