I'm trying to finish Xmas shopping and first stop this morning was to pick up a bottle of Grey Goose for the boss! I would never buy it for myself, way too expensive, but I can't tell you how generous this man is with me, so Grey Goose it is for Xmas and b'days.
As I was walking out a very tall, reasonably well dressed/clean cut guy, was attempting to talk with the lady parked beside me and I heard her say, "leave me alone," slammed her door shut and quickly drove away. I was the only one left in the parking lot, no one else around. He approached wishing me a Merry Xmas. I'm an old woman and working, resulting in zero sympathy for begging crap! I knew that was obviously where he was headed! Without answering, I turned around and headed back in the store. A nice man (and even larger sized than the beggar) was exiting and I quickly explained and asked him to please watch as I got in my car. The jerk walked up to him and asked what I had told him. He told him I was uncomfortable and to please act like a gentleman and leave me alone. The man starts yelling and cursing me like crazy, calling me every vulgar name in the book, then verbally takes on the nice gentleman. Apparently the first lady had called the cops and since we were conveniently downtown, they pulled in and I pulled out. What a way to start the day! I'll find another location for future purchases, but it ruined my morning and I'm far from a Nervous Nellie and not easily fazed. This time of year brings all the crazies out for sure.
