55 Best Christmas Movies of All Time - Classic Holiday Films

A great one for Christmas time!!

I think I may have seen this one when it came out. It sounds familiar. But I don't recall what it was about.
A mob moll protecting a little boy who witnessed his family's executions by the mob. Oh my, typing that out, it sounds horrid, doesn't it?! But I really liked it and the ending still brings tears.

Runaway Train (1985)

Two convicts make a daring escape from a remote Alaskan prison, walk cross-country, swim across a freezing river, and hop a freight train. They think they're home free, but when the engineer dies of a heart attack, they find themselves trapped, alone, speeding towards disaster. Then they discover a stowaway railroad worker who's just as desperate to survive as they are. Jon Voight and Eric Roberts star in Oscar-nominated performances, and Rebecca De Mornay also stars. Beautifully shot by Alan Hume ("For Your Eyes Only"), with top-notch direction by Andrei Konchalovsky ("Maria's Lovers") and based on a screenplay by Akira Kurosawa ("The Seven Samurai").

Buckle up; you're in for a wild ride!
