Looking back, teenage thoughts in 1967

1967. I had taken a year off from full-time college (I did take a couple of night classes) to work full-time to make enough money for a European adventure.

My thoughts were on slogging through until I could fly off and have adventures. And then my thoughts were to make my money last long enough to have LOTS of adventures. And how cheaply I could live during those adventures.

I started high school in 1967 at 13 years old in a school of 1800 kids. My public school was all in one room school houses. It was a major culture shock but it was also great. I always liked school but high school was a whole new experience. I had never seen so many girls in one place.

Just got out of high school. Thought about writing songs and going in that direction. Then, Vietnam kinda got in the way and when I came back, I tried, but couldn't really get back into the whole writing thing.
Flash forward 50+ years, and now, I'm trying again. Never too old to try something new.
