see we get numerous looky loos here that are thinking this is a dating site for Seniors.
It is not, so people can be reluctant to respond to a minimal statement when a person joins.
If you are looking for people to laugh with, discuss senior issues, problems, achievements

Well, at least you said hello to us, so thanks for that. When I joined SF, I just started posting and skipped any introduction. I don't think I was aware of the introductions thread at that time.
