Lori Loughlin guilty plea

Two months, hmmm...she might just be left in the Reception housing area, sitting in a "hold for housing" cell. Perhaps there is a dorm for shortimers...or celebrities. I doubt if she'll get assigned a work detail, but if she does, clothing exchange would give her a chance to see the prison and the inmates "in the raw". :ROFLMAO:

The thing that griped me was the interview with her 2 airhead daughters who did not appreciate what going to USC meant.
Of course they didn't appreciate it. It was handed to them as has been everything else in their lives. They not only didn't earn entry, they willfully participated in the cheating necessary to get it.

Yuk.

How many would watch one of her old or new TV movies? The biggest penalty would be to her income.

Also her kids were influencers. Are they any more? This was big money for them.
I for one wouldn't be able to stomach watching a movie with her in it now.

I find it amusing that Laughlin was convicted of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, not cheating on her daughter's admission to USC. Does this mean that if she had paid cash, and delivered documents by hand rather than mailing them, they would not have been able to charge her with anything?

Just a guess, but I'd guess that prosecutors thought it would be easier to get a conviction on the mail fraud, etc., in federal court (mail fraud and wire fraud are federal raps).

Why did she receive only one month, whereas her husband is said to serve five months ?

I seem to recall that he did most of the work to put the scam into place and she went along with it and participated to a lesser degree. However I don't have any links to back up my claims.
