Lying about our success against ISIS! Say it ain't so!

But, of course, some of us remember the body count successes from the Vietnam war. Thus, nothing new in this news, just another effort by some military types to keep their images in tact. Heads should roll, but we know that maybe only transfers will occur. I can't get too disturbed by this, can you?
 

Well you didn't provide a link so I'm not positive what your upset about BUT on just the face of what you're saying, if you have read that your government is lying about how effective they are being at cutting down ISIS (which I think is a blatant lie by the way), then ask yourself, what else are they lying to you about? What do they know about the economy, the conflicts/wars they're fighting/helping in, the numbers of dead because of their actions, their efforts to find peaceful solutions.........? How many lies are we accepting as truth?

If you have family or friends that you care about, you should be getting disturbed by these mounting lies because you may die (and escape) but they won't and will be dealing with the fallout.
 
We hear nothing about what our military is doing/achieving in the ME.
They're all heroes but their activity is a deep secret.

However, the defence force has published figures revealing how much it is costing.

We have just 4 planes over there involved in ground attacks and support of our allies with airborne refueling and the cost for the past year has been $9.9 million dollars per day.

Our new PM is getting kudos for allocating $100 million to do something about the high levels of domestic violence and murders of women by their partners that we are currently experiencing. We are losing women this way at an average rate of 2 per week. While $100 million is appreciated, it doesn't sound so great when we realise that that much money is being spent every 11 days in the ME, and we have no idea what is being achieved. If anything.
 

I've thought these things for years. You can't trust the news, the politicians and they're robbing the taxpayers to support pet projects that support the guys who put lobbyists outside their doors! We the people....are toast. We have one purpose (as far as they're concerned): We're the bottomless wallet to pick repeatedly and we supply live bodies to be sent back when they're of no more use.
