Yep, its a pretty low bar these days...I'm tempted to say this is one of the most idiotic things I've heard lately.. but I'm sure something else will come up to outdo that thought.

Ya got THAT right!!Yep, its a pretty low bar these days...
Oh but won't that be like that televangelist who said a cartoon character was gay because it was purple?Well, based on this article, it's actually the crazies who are gnashing at their teeth.
"The green M&M, for example, had previously drawn criticism for being marketed as too sexy, so the company switched out her knee-high heeled boots for sneakers and put more emphasis on her feminist values. “Orange” became a mascot riddled with anxiety, and the company added a new purple M&M, which was designed to represent inclusivity.
The rebrand caught the eye of conservatives, including Fox News host Tucker Carlson, at the time of the update and again in recent weeks, with some claiming the makeovers were another example of a liberal agenda gone too far."

Yes, she was on SNL and she is actually the daughter of the late Minnie Riperton, who had an amazing range. Is she SNL?
she was a cast regular on SNL starting in 2000,don't know when she left SueI forgot who Maya Rudolph is, or did I ever know? Name sounds familiar.
The green one is wearing Go-Go boots in the top one (old) and tennis shoes in the bottom one (new). Seems the boots were offensive to somebody.I don't get the big "change. Maybe it is an advertisement campaign for the brand to be recognized/popularized.

I read somewhere that the purple color M&Ms are to represent "inclusiveness". Granted, there was no purple icon though.Ha! I found something that might offend. I see no dark skinned arms and legs representing minorities. None look gay either.
Best reply!!!I have no idea what they are talking about and I don't care. I don't buy that stuff anyway.
I kinda miss those guys......Wonder where the clay-mation “Raisins” of the ‘I Heard It through the Grapevine’ ads from the 70’s would fall in this discussion?
The only character of this kind I would have been able to remember! I did like those ads.Wonder where the clay-mation “Raisins” of the ‘I Heard It through the Grapevine’ ads from the 70’s would fall in this discussion?
