Male Karen Spits on Police Officer when asked to wear Mask

The real story about the word "Karen". It is what the American radical left calls anyone that they view as right wing conservatives.
I've never heard it in that context. "Karen" typically refers to White women who scream bloody murder over perceived slights or inconveniences, and often use racial biases as their basis for calling police or threatening to do so.

This is the best definition of "Karen" that I've seen:

Watched parts of a movie the other day that had to do with a virus of some kind having killed off most people everywhere. It was as though the movie had been produced AFTER Covid 19, Creepy.

I have a daughter named Karen (yes, that's her real name), and also a close friend named Karen, and a couple of more casual acquaintances. The name was extremely popular back in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. At one time, my Karen had 6 friends named Karen!

So when this new meaning for the name turned up a few months ago, I really felt sorry for all the real Karens out there. By which I mean the people really named Karen. Imagine having your name turned into an ugly insult. I mentioned it once to my daughter, and she just laughed and said, "Yeah, unfortunate choice of a name."

I find it odd that some many passionate people who are concerned about being offended themselves, have literally offended hundreds of thousands of women named Karen.
Yeah, I feel badly about that as well. I've known so many Karens and none of them fit the current description.

I had to look up the term "karen". Apparently, it is a term somebody recently made up to depict a woman who kicks up a fuss, such as demanding to see the manager and that sort of thing. So the OP post, referring to a "male karen" is to apply the term to men. This is the first I have seen the term, and that is always how it starts for me. Now that I have seen it, I will likely start seeing it everywhere until after a few weeks when folks get tired of it, the term just dies away. Occasionally, a term such as this will remain popular, so it will be interesting to watch this one.

As for the spitting, I think it is a shame that civilians can't be treated as upstart trouble makers were in the Army. Take them out back, beat the crap out of them, repeat until the person finally shapes up. There are some things we just should not tolerate even in civilian life.

I named my daughter Karen and feel heartbroken for her now . She doesn’t say much about it ... but I know it is a very hurtful thing for her . How I hope it will just disappear and so wish people would just stop using it . I find it hard to believe how portions of our society can be so mean in that regard .

I feel bad for all those with the name Karen. However, the behavior is ridiculous. I wonder if part of his brain is going out.

You can't be too careful. Too many co-workers testing positive and so far I've been lucky. One who I knew was shopping at Target (people were talking about it because the gift card we got didn't have the money on them at first. This co-worker found out when she tried to buy) Then she's positive and probably was while at the store.

Also co-workers not social distancing in the parking lot. They said only 2 in the break room at a time but I've noted them in there without masks. I eat in my car. I'm not even in parking lots without a mask.
Yes, he likely has mental issues. We tend to forget that the mind ages along with the body. And (just as with our physical health), that deterioration occurs differently in different people.

My name is Elsie. Years back, a milk distribution company had a cow logo named Elsie. The cow had a human-like face, a lea around its head, and was wearing an apron. One day a little girl came across my mother and she asked her if she was the mother of Elsie the cow? 🙃 (meaning me) Funny? Only a little, little girl.

I remember Elsie, the Borden cow.

i find the term "karen" to be very offensive... wonder why?

by the looks of this jerk... could this behavior be a little out of his control? could he have been under the influence of any kind of substance. spitting on someone is a DISGUSTING thing to do. i worked with special needs HS aged kids for several years. i remember one girl who would spit.

seems it's not acceptable to raise you voice?? well, she heard from me as she was getting ready to spit at another kid... not provoked. first there was the look on the other adults' faces... like have I lost my mind!?! then a kind of pissed look on the kid's face... like how dare you raise your voice to ME! BUT the next time she was getting ready to spit... all it took was "the look".

oh, wait... back up a paragraph.once the old man started spitting, he should have gently but firmly been put in a horizontal position until police arrive to decide what typical security guard might not be allowed to do.

Face up, I assume. Gravity can work wonders--spit-wise. :D
