Anyone who confronts someone over a mask issue is just as much an idiot as the person violating the mask requirement.
I've said it before; this virus has brought out the stupid in people - on BOTH sides. Some people who enjoy telling others what to do & go through life waiting for an opportunity to confront someone will seize incidents like these & start trouble so they can feel powerful. They will often find more trouble than they bargained for & sometimes they will pay with their lives.
If you see someone not wearing a mask, why do you care, since your mask protects you?

People are stressed out right now & there is nothing more stupid than starting fights. Be nice to everyone; you'll live longer.

Masks allegedly provide little protection to the individuals wearing them.. they're to protect other people from the individuals wearing them.

Although I do agree with the last paragraph.
 
There's just no excuse for that behavior and I too am outraged. I made this post the other day on another thread and I'll post it again here.

Here's some good news that warmed my heart...đź’“

Yesterday in Los Angeles a maskless shopper went off on a grocery store worker who requested he wear a mask in the store. He ranted about his "rights" and shoved the worker with his grocery cart. She pepper sprayed him and when the cops came he was arrested for battery, but they had to take the jerk to the ER first because of the pepper spray.
Now if that isn't a great story, I don't know what is. Wonder if he will get the virus with the ER visit?
