My volunteer morning at Canopy of Neighbors calling other members,signing them up for upcoming events.I may have time do some filing,if not I can do it tomorrow
I'll take an afternoon walk since the weather feels like spring temps near 60
 

Hello Guys..

I'm 98 percent it's gas... Still have some pain, but NONE in the chest area... My daughter said it's probably the flu... the symptoms I told her, is many of the same she has heard all last week... She came over and gave me a going over, but told me if it persists to get to the hospital. And not to do strenuous things today, try and take it as easy as I can... Thank you for your support, and I will keep you guys in the loop... Thank you again for caring...
 
Good Morning Everyone...
So this is what I have learned since waking up with what I thought was a heart attack yesterday morning around 3 am... It hurts when I sit in my chair to watch TV, it hurts when I lay in bed on my left side or back, if I lay on my right side or if I stand and walk around, NO pain at all... So I think somewhere along the way on the last day or so I've pulled something... I am still keeping an eye on it, and if it gets worst, then I will check in with my doctor...

Well, today is breakfast day with the guys... Looking forward to getting out and seeing them... as of 7:00 last night, there was no water in the basement... I see Lake Matthews is back up the laneway, and the other Lake Matthews between the garage and pool are back... But thankful none in the basement yet...

Well, I hope YOU all have a wonderful and safe day, and God Bless YOU all... I am going to finish my tea, and go back to bed to and lay on my right side...

Well no sleep last night, I'm tired... Probably have breakfast with the boys, and come home and try to have a nap... Suppose to rain all day... Just keep your fingers crossed, she doesn't come in the basement...

I am sure we're still good for a couple of snowstorms yet... But I don't remember spring-like weather this early ever... To think the ground-rat was right this year...

Good Morning World...
Beginning to feel normal again... Got a pretty good sleep last night, and just got up, pain doesn't seem as bad right now...

So I had breakfast with the boys yesterday, and then we all came back here for a coffee, and by 2:00 pm I was in bed, sound asleep... Slept till about 5:00 pm... Had a coffee, and fell asleep again till about 8:30... The game wasn't on till 10:00 our time... After the first 15 minutes when it was 4 - 0 for Anaheim, I gave up and went to bed. Not sure what the score was, I will have to look on my phone.

Well, going to do a few chores today, 1st one being, going downstairs and suck up some of the water, yup, the water came in a little bit, and then I am going to take the bottom panel off the dryer to clean out the lint. Then we will see how I am feeling if I continue or not...

Well, hub won out...he got this new nifty log roller so we're going down in the back and rolling some logs he cut up down to the tree lines. Still working on bookshelves Aunt Bea... almost done enough to send you pics. We've decided we want more to finish out the wall so there goes another indoor project, lol.

Word to the wise...don't ever start to move books as it will take 3 times as long as you think the job will take due to "opening" the books...lol. Have a close neighbor friend that is ready for happy hour in the library as she also has the bookworm itch. Promised her I'd call when done enough for a cold one together!

Good Evening Folks

Got the water picked up, till the next wave... and got the dryer taken apart, cleaned out all the lint... Hadn't done it since buying the dryer 6 - 7 years ago, but now on the calendar to do every year... One of the easier dryers I have worked on...

They got their first Corona case in Ottawa today...

That's about it for today, just making dinner now... and then going to try and stay awake to watch my Sens again at 10:30 tonight...

Was scheduled for a CT scan of the brain today at the hospital, due to chronic migraines since November....here's how my luck runs.....
the machine wasn't working! The nurse said I can wait to see if when the tech guy gets here it gets fixed, or go home and re-schedule
the procedure.....well I decided to wait it out for two hours cuz I felt strongly that right after I get home, the damned thing would get fixed soon after.....well, I was wrong....five hours later here and still dont know if its running or needs a new part.....they were gonna call me back by now but no call :(.....now I'm wondering how reliable this machine will be now that its being worked on, hmmm....
 
Pops, that happened to me once, turned into a five week wait, hopefully your wait is much much shorter. The good thing is that the machine was replaced with a newer version which was much more able to show everything.

Just hanging out around the house today, might go out and have a good look at the back yard....a depressed state of a yard, awful shape.

Just getting up, sipping on my first cuppa coffee... Carl sitting beside me looking out the window, waiting for the Grandson to get here...

Not a lot planned today, keep an eye on the basement for more water...
