Mardi gras season- Jan 6 until Mardi Gras on Mar 4

I have no desire to go to New Orleans. I might have enjoyed it when I was young, but that's no longer my idea of a good time.

I do like some New Orleans food, though, and some of their music.
One of my sisters lives there but I have never been there m she loves it , it only gets crazy during Mardi Gras .

Again never been there but guess like Key West which is pretty dead except Halloween and New Years .

They have it here in Mobile too. Bunch of unruly hooligans in the street. Looking forward to when it's over. Spring breakers are even worse.

Now that we are in the season of Lent I trust that all Mardi-Gras celebrants are well into their 40 days of self-denial, sacrifice, and personal introspection of their relationship with other humans and their god,

lol yes spring break is also brutal here but I'm not by the immediate beach area where it becomes unreal yet drunk drivers galore in rented cars so most avoid driving nights if possible .
