Martin Short/ Meryl Streep/ daughter suicide

I was just reading the other day how there is speculation of Martin Short (actor/comedian born in Canada) is now going out with Meryl Streep. Martin's wife passed away from ovarian cancer in 2010. And Meryl and her husband have been separated for 6 years.

And then today, in the news, apparently Martin's daughter (adopted) has committed suicide. Katherine Short (42) was well educated and a Social Worker.

For a person who brings so much joy to the world, it's painful to see so much tragedy within his family.

At the risk of sounding insensitive, I can't wrap my head around Martin Short and Meryl Streep. But I am sorry for Martin.

Very sad. He seems like such a nice guy, and has had so much tragedy.
