I didn't know where to post this true story that transpired yesterday with a neighbor and a stray cat.

She told me that there was a light grey cat following her as she went in / out of her house to take in the groceries and her teacher stuff. She says she made about 5 trips, back and forth.... with the cat followng her. He did not look hungry, in fact she thinks it belongs to a neighbor.

Anyways, the cat attempted to go into her house and was stopped on his/her tracks by my neighbor's own cat. Her cat started hissing at the grey cat and he/she ran out. Gloria went back out to her car one more time.

A few minutes later, she remembered that her cell phone was still in her car.... so she goes out and opens the door and sees the grey cat sitting very comfortably in the back seat of her car!!!

She said she started laughing because she never saw the cat jump in. I'm glad she went out ... once more as the poor cat would have surely suffocated with the heat.

She said the cat took his/her time jumping out.

The way that my neighbor told me this story was so funny. I can visualize the cat in the back seat.
