Memorial day......

This Memorial Day afternoon, I did a 2>3 miles urban street loop on major commercial and shopping district boulevards within 2 miles of my residence. Visited local urban creek area few know where access is possible below an overpass. Some street exercise listening to classic rock. Trader Joe's, 99 cent chocolate peanut butter 2 cups, a Togos albacore tuna min $4.75 cent sandwich on nice soft seeded wheat, mayo, tomato, lettuce, salt. Best of all stopped and had brief fun conversations with a few other people.

At city hall beside downtown, they had several large pole American flags along the street blowing in the breezes with fair traffic. I stood with my hand around one pole looking up at the flag waving against the blue sunny upper 70Fs sky, playfully imagining absorbing any forces of the universe running through this earth creature body. Trying to feel gratefulness those who serve and sacrifice for us deserve.

Back at home finished off some vanilla ice cream I added Nestle caramel and strawberry syrups to. Then one Hostess orange cream cupcake. The only thing I had earlier in the day before this holiday binge was a blueberry bagel with cream cheese at 12pm PDT.

An old B&W film print I'd scanned decades ago from 1969 in SE Asia at age 20. 5b-2.jpg

that someone else had given me. Cloned out most of my name tag.
