We also played "Cowboys & Indians" .....no one died!Odd thing is there were a lot less murders and mass shootings back then. Maybe it is a overpopulation thing? When I was a youngster all the the kids in the neighborhood played Army during the summer. There were a few that had a Johnny Seven.
I've never heard that song....love it!!!!Back to the OP, remember our family rushing home from Sunday Night Church Service to get ready
for 'Bonanza'.
My mom had Lorne Greene's album and this was her favorite song.
She played it so much, I knew every word.
I keep a can of crisco in case I ever need an emergency candle.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....Classic!!
My Mom thought every dark haired handsome man on TV was little Joe, No one could tell her different. After a while we would just say look it's Little Joe. She also thought the man in the Blue Bell Ice Cream commercials was her exhusband. She had also convinced herself that one of those TV real estate twins had come to her house when she was selling her home. We just learned to let her believe what she knew to be true. Needless to say, when she was 87 she had to be placed in assisted living where she made a run for her money. Love you Mom!!Little Joe was my favorite , I had a crush on him .
It was one of my favorites. Got to meet Hoss (Dan Blocker) once as a kid, nice guy.I love Bonanza!!
LOL, that's the chair lift at Snow King, Jackson, Wyoming. I rode it and skied the hill often, when the chairs looked just like that. It's a very steep hill, but those ladies are closer to the ground than that picture makes it look. I was on the lift once when the cables came off track, fortunately no one was hurt and I was able to jump to the ground pretty easily.
