Memories (Bonanza)

Love the couch and matching curtains.

I went to a Catholic school and the Nuns made us get under our wooden desks to be protected from an Atomic Bomb.

I don't think we were concerned much about atomic bombs at my school. All our principal would have to do was give the incoming bombs one of her "looks" and, if it knew what was good for it, it would turn right around and head back to Cuba.

Our big thing was tornado drills, being in "the alley". We'd sit in the halls, backs against the wall, heads between our knees preparing to kiss our a$$es goodbye.

At the age, I am now I have soo many memories. I remember my Mom's Mom wearing an oxygen mask and then passing away right before Christmas when I was 4yrs old and my sister was 6yrs old. My Mom said we wouldn't decorate or get anything for Christmas. My Dad understood but he couldn't see us not getting anything for Christmas. So when we woke up he had 2 dolls in baskets for me and my sister. We still have the dolls. A few years ago we were offered $1000 for each one of them. Of course, we refused the offer and put them under our trees every year.

Sing it....He's Buster Brown, he lives in a shoe. Here's his dog Tie, he lives in there, too.
Does your shoe have a dog inside... what a funny place for a dog to hide.
Does your shoe have a boy there too... A boy and a dog and a foot in the shoe.
Well, the boy is Buster brown, and the dog is Tige his friend, it's only just a picture... but it's fun to play pretend.
So, look look look in the telephone book for the store that sells the shoe
With the picture of the boy and the dog inside that you can put your foot into. (y) :)
