I remember listening to the account given by the late Indira Gandhi, (the president of India in the 1960s-1980s), saying how she was proposed to by her husband on the first day they met.
Though she turned him down that day, and it took four more proposals before she finally agreed to marry him, it cannot be doubted the man "did not believe in allowing the grass to grow under his feet", (besides being a persistent suitor)!
An uncle of mine told his future wife on the first day they met that she was the girl for him, (though they courted for three or four years before finally tying the knot), so once again a decisive guy, who was able to make his mind up in a hurry!
How many more folks are there who have had that kind of thing either happen to them, or shown similar quickness of thought etc., (anyone here?)?
