Men: would you consider getting a pedicure?

I had a friend tell me that getting a pedicure made him feel like a king. It was the only time some did something for him.
I was in Mexico and while a friend was getting her teeth done, I walked around this little town and saw a handwritten sign that said pedicures. It was only ten bucks so I follwed her into a room in back of the pottery shop and she had an old chair that did not work but she heated water in the Mr coffee, and I was soon soaking my feet in a warm bath.
My feet are in good shape so she did her thing and as she was drying my feet her 6-year-old daughter said I should get my toenails painted. I said ok just the big toes you pick the color. She chose dark green and I had green toenails for months. Never did get that king feeling but I think of it when I try to cut my thick nails.

My pedicure lady takes care of my feet and ingrown toenails so I don't have to go to a podiatrist, and whether you get polish is up to you, I don't get polish in winter months because I don't wear sandals, and I think your nails should have a break from all the polish.

Ha !
You could always tell the men who had little girls in the Change / Locker Rooms Offshore - by the painted up Toenails when they came back after Days Off - Ha...... I remember when #1 Daughter used to fix me up.... I had forgot all about that 😍

I wonder if I would feel like a person who needs to clean the house before a cleaning lady (or guy) came over? I'd have to think about this first.

When my husband was ill, I had a podiatrist come to the home to take care of his feet. I did his hands myself though.

I haven't made it to the nail place in town yet, but I do file on the callous on the bottom of my foot with a sanding board. I can't get rid of it completely but it's less uncomfortable after filling on it.

I occasionally get one, along with a foot massage. She does both and when she’s done, my feet never felt so good. She also rubs some kind of rough bar, like sandpaper over the sole of my feet after soaking them in Epsom Salts. I do this about 3 times a year. My wife does the trimming the rest of the time it needs done.

I have never had a pedicure, and probably never will. But, I do have a whole lot more trouble trying to trim my toenails now , than when I was younger and more flexible.
I now use one of the pet nail grinders on my toenails, and it does a great job, and I never clip my skin like I did with the toenail clippers.

I bought it to use on my little dog, because I didn’t want to clip his nails too short and hurt him. It worked great with Poodle’s toenails, so I decided to try it on mine, and it works good for me, too. It even has a little light on it so I can see what i am doing when I grind my toenails.

Thanks for reminding me, I've wanted to get a little grinder to blunt the dogs claws, and also for my problem toenails.
Edit...yea, I'm a confirmed do-it-yourselfer , plus I don't really like personal services, so I probably won't ever get to that nail place in town.

They come in all sizes and prices on Amazon, and I just bought one that was on sale cheap because i had no idea if it was going to work or not and didn’t want to spend a lot of money.
Mine charges with usb, has 2 speeds and a light, and is easy for me to hold and use. Here is what it looks like, but Amazon does not seem to have this one anymore.

Not yet, but I am thinking about it. Thicker harder to cut toe nails and less flexibility to reach them are pushing me that way. We live near a beauty college where pedicures can be had at a great discount, if you let one of the students do it. I am contemplating that, how much can go wrong?
No kidding. I have to raise my feet up to the height of the bathroom counter to cut my toenails. It's a good way of stretching but it is becoming more difficult.

I had a manicure once many years ago. I would considering getting that and a pedicure sometime in the future.
