This is his eighth and mother, who is 29, and child are doing well. Certainly you extend best wishes to this happy couple and wish them many more if they so desire...
 

But will the kid grow up with a father? Oh, well, at least he will be rich...

Err, no he didn't, Ralphy. His young wife carried the child and brought it into the world.
Let's not give him more credit than is due.

In our family history, hubby's great grandfather fathered ten (living) children over 33 years to his three wives. He was widowed twice. Other children were born but did not survive infancy.

Older fathers, if they take fathering seriously and if they cherish the mothers, can be a blessing to their children.
Congratulations and good luck to the new parents and their baby.
 
Hey rock on Mick!!! Ya just know in fifty years he'll still be performing, have to give him and the rest of the band credit due:cool: The only embarrassment is Ron Wood. I believe his present wife was fourteen when they met. The next one will probably be ten. That's just creepy.
 
I love the Stones and Mick, but there's something about Geriatric Rock 'n Roll that just doesn't seem right.

Nevertheless, Congrats to Mick and his lovely bride. (And also I'd recommend a DNA test, just in case, you know, a friend "had it in for you....) :cool:
 
My gosh, she's old enough to be his granddaughter, having a child that could be the age of a great-grandchild. I assume there will be nannies and a lot of help. Hopefully he will get to know his father (or her).
 
If I did this you would think of me as a dirty old man...
