Paul got $40 million and Tyson got $20 million for that charade. One might consider both of them "winners" — financially, anyway.

Well I've never been a Tyson fan, but I know nothing of Jake Paul before this bout, plus Tyson is the old guy so I kinda side with him.

Some points information:
Mike Tyson landed just 18 punches across that 16 minute fight. He threw 97. Jake Paul, on the other hand, landed 78, more than four times as many. He threw 278. Source

Yea, that was pretty evident, made me wince in sympathy for the old guy. I don't envy Jake Paul for being known for beating up on a guy that's old enough to be his grandfather. But for $40 million I guess I could learn to live with that.

So Paul was basically 10% better than Tyson.

Frankly, I was surprised that Paul earned the larger paycheck. I mean, let's face it, up until this Paul was mostly mouth, whereas Tyson was a proven champion.

Like has been said, for 40 million , I'd get in the ring with Tyson. Drop my hands take that punch , collect my check, have my head put back on, and live out my life ...........

I believe that, when have you ever seen a Tyson fight where he never attempted an uppercut?
Tyson's glove biting was a shot he could have taken but held back, I have watched and rewatched the fight, it was a mockery to the sport of Boxing.

Early in his career Tyson was the thing but he never reached that level of greatness other champions or fighters did. He was the fighter to beat for a while but never seemed to be able to take it to that next level. Between his legal troubles and probably drug use recreational and peds his career at the time was doomed to fail or fade.

I haven't a seen a full Jake Paul fight so not sure what boxing skill he's known for. But his age definitely helped him out this night.

Tyson was sinking when he bit Evanders ear. Steady winners despise losing and that stunt bailed his sinking pride out. I think Tysons heavy use of drinking and coke snorting over the years declared him unfit to even get a draw with Jake. This was a "take the money and run" fight So Tyson needs to take that money and run to AA and a drug abuse program.
