Mini Series "Maid" on Netflix

Am currently binging on this excellent mini-series on Netflix. It's based on Stephanie Land’s “Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay and a Mother’s Will to Survive.” Ladies, don't miss this one.

I've started watching it. I have to take it in segments, though, as the topic is kind of disturbing. It's very good though.

I couldn't stop watching it. That's Andie McDowell's daughter. I was rather surprised by all the cussing going on.

I'm still trying to get thru Midnight Mass.

I had to look away sometimes, it was so overwhelmingly horrific. But that's what can happen to a woman who decides to leave her partner with a small child in tow, with no work qualifications, money, or somewhere to go, it's impossible.

I hear you. It's really sad what some women have gone through. I can't even imagine how awful it would be with a child too!
