Mini Skirt in the Past

I am so amused by this thread especially all the chat about shoes.
Never heard about the so called reason why white shoes should not be worn and the sort of women who wore them!!!
It begs the question where did one go to see ladies of the night wear white shoes???? Certainly not in the UK....

I have worn white shoes and I can tell you I come from a very classy background.
In addition.... I was a shoe model for high end Italian shoes on Italian TV. I was not only allowed to keep all the shoes I modelled, I was given an allowance to buy shoes from the manufacturers.
After all these years, whenever I return to Italy I can obtain a pair of classy high end shoes.

The truth about sluttyness is the Toenails need fixed, trimmed, foot bath, tons of money spent on that foolish girls feet. The shoe is good for a hot night out & mostly turning heads and dreams, desires and willfulness to venture where all Men wanna be with a hot slut. Haha
I look down at those toes and fake is what I see.

I think for younger men, sexiness may be all about a woman's body and the more they see the sexier she appears.
However, as a man gets older, he may admire a woman in a miniskirt, but considering her sexy is another matter. A woman can be sexy at any age, if that's who she is inside. She doesn't need a mini skirt or anything all that revealing.
More often than not, younger women show more of their bodies because they haven't yet learned the mysterious, alluring qualities that an older woman can possess. Sure Lauren Bacall made it look easy, but I think if any woman thinks of herself as sexy, she won't need a mini skirt to prove it.
See, this annoys me. YOU don’t annoy me @bobcat48, I’m not singling you out specifically.

WHY is it A Thing for men to see a woman as sexy? And why do some women feel the need to look sexy? I’ve had this conversation with my husband. “Honey you look sexy in that!” Well, dammit, I’m not TRYING to look sexy. I’m trying to dress in a way that flatters me, but that way of dressing doesn’t .. in my head anyway .. translate to sexy. Just…attractive, or flattering, or any word that communicates that I look nice. But sexy???? 😡😡😡

Yes...I agree with this post. S** appeal is something you either have or not.
A woman who has it, can wear a sack and walk barefoot and it will be recognized.

Hi Ronni: That was primarily my point. A woman doesn't need to look sexy at all appearance wise. It just comes from inside. It's hard to describe, but, as I mentioned, Lauren Bacall could look sexy just lighting a match. It doesn't matter what the behavior is. There is something inside that just emanates from a sexy woman. The way she walks, the way she talks, the way she smiles, the way she flirts, her eyes, the way she sits.
It's just there because she has a mature confidence in her femininity, and it is subtle, not flaunted, but you just know it when you see it.

I think many women feel that about guys too. I don't know or understand what women regard as sexy in a man, but they do. It doesn't matter if he is riding on a tractor, working on the car, or cooking her dinner. There is something that comes across that gets their motor running. Our minds sometimes interpret things in a way we can't fully describe, or even understand, but it still happens on a subliminal level.

When I was a very young teenager I strategically dressed to look sexy and many of my friends did. When we got older we went clubbing and danced the night away.

Once I reached my thirties the novelty died off since I had a permanent partner. I no longer even wear high heels. In fact, I practically live in runners in the warmer months . In the winter time I live in winter hiking boots.
I think my excitement of outdoors is sexy enough for ‘me.’ Who cares what anyone else thinks. 😁 lol

Sure I have a few dress shoes but I never wear them.

It amazes me, how a simple initial post starts off,(Such as this one) then eventually, "And happens often"goes completely off-subject. For instance, Mini Skirt now has a picture of a man in high heel shoes, maybe someone can explain to me why this happens, and as said before not just this post but many others also. Or am I being too critical?

We are all old, with short term memory issues and are constantly losing our train of thought. All we remember is that something is happening in this thread that makes us want to contribute whatever crosses our mind at a given time. Now excuse me. I have to look outside to see if it's day or night.

Back in my high school days was probably the only time I dressed to try to impress boys and look sexy. It is when I started smoking a little(even though I really didn't like it much at all) to try and look cool as well. It probably attracted some boys, but for the wrong reasons. Once I got to college, I did go out, but the impressing ended. I went out to have fun. I dress to look confident in myself. When I got older, I didn't care what anyone thought.

Well, I can only offer you my take on it. SF is a conversational format, and as happens with most conversations, they don't always end up where they started off. You may meet up with a friend to talk about helping him move, and before long you end up talking about the new bakery that just opened up. That's how conversations go. Someone will mention something, and it will spark something in another member, and off it goes. It's best not to get too rigid with it. It will drive you crazy.

Most of the conversations we appear to have on this forum are tangent conversations.
For example… if we are talking about trees and someone is describing a walk through a forest and happens to mention a beautiful bridge they saw… it may spark the interest of another person who is interested in bridges and so the conversation goes off at a tangent for a while.

I see nothing wrong with that, most conversations follow a similar pattern in real life… IMO makes for an interesting diversion and can be quite amusing!

However, a skilful OP who wants the topic to be adhered to, simply has to be present on the thread to steer it in the direction he/she wishes… the responsibility of a successful thread lies mainly with the OP :)

There was a time whn my shose are better than your shoes was a way of life in the burgs. Fortunately I had decent farmer shoes. haha
Go over to the Fridge, take hold of it, feel firmly in control of that Fridge. Bang your forehead into the sharp edge of the door hard, wait1, 2,3, times then step away and ask yourself do I feel sexy in my new shoes? Well do ya sucker? ...... .... now who the F/n cares anyhow about the shoes its what's inside em that counts. Something sexy, alluring, smoker hot, memory comes to mind sure! I was once a youngster iknow when!
Well I most likely forgot the when part but never the place! Every one of us remember that smoken hot place ! Haha

I remember as I was around 15-16 I saw pretty girls, plain girls and ugly girls. Tall thin were usually the most plain no personality girls. Heavier girls always had wonderful, amazing hair and beautiful faces. Then the Average bod girl was the best at conversation. Conversation won! It was the way she had with her Eyes, smile, laugh. She had a personality, but it seemed to be pointed to be with me to.
