Molasses

I bought a jar of "Grandma's Molasses," at Kroger the other day. I had to search a long time to find any.

I needed exactly 2 tablespoons to use in my mother's oatmeal cookie recipe. I wanted them to taste like I remember from my childhood, but of course they weren't quite as good. Now I have 15ounces left and no idea what to do with it.

Any ideas?

I saw a show that had a middle eastern breakfast/snack. They mix molasses with tahini and put it on toast. I eat it sometimes. Its different but good if you like tahini.
Otherwise, molasses is great on oatmeal!

Frank beat me to it! 😉 Gingerbread! 😊 That will use up about 1/2 cup. Della, molasses stores well for a long time if kept tightly capped in a cool dark place. It should last for six months to a year.
