Is there something...coming up..in your life..that you're dreading.

Having trouble "facing"? šŸ¤”

We all have something.

It's always been my motto to always do what I'm most afraid to do!

I've always kept it a part of me to not be afraid of anything!
If it turns out I AM afraid, I walk into the storm like I own it!

The only hypothetical that causes me serious concern is the hopefully unlikely possibility of my kids or grandson predeceasing me. Have confidence in ability to deal, both practically and emotionally, with anything else.

But i don't agree with the statement entirely. i've known people so traumatized by events that are long over with they genuinely worry about it happening again. And little doubt there are others who fear past misdeeds coming to light. While it is technically the consequences of their actions they fear it exists because of what they did in the past.

My ā€œMonday madnessā€ today is feeling like I’m stuck in some repetitive Science Fiction Movie I can’t get out of.
First , millions of people die from a new microbe. Then civilization shuts down. Then when it opens up again, people either go wild or won’t emerge. Irregular scarcities of common products.
Ordinarily jobs that can’t be filled. Increased crime and violence. Invasions and wars. Many killed in storms and floods at the same time crops are failing from drought.

Medical groups advertising for more patients at the same time I might have to wait weeks to be seen for a common but uncomfortable old age problem.
And so many brave young families, trying to give their kids as ā€œnormalā€ a life as possible.

This post somehow reminds me of something i saw on FB (paraphrased):

Somebody asked me if i was ready for fall and it took me a moment to realize they a meant 'autumn' not the collapse of civilization.
