Monster Mosquitos Poised To Hit Florida This Summer

Sheesh! It seems the Tao is trying to tell me something ... well, I didn't get my writing contract so I don't think I'll be getting down there before they figure out how to deal with those giants.

... probably with flame-throwers. :eek:nthego:

I know from experience, that mosquitos favor women over men...so there's hope for you. :p

With the way MY luck is going lately, they'll probably turn out to be giant GAY mosquitos ...

How about the "Black Flies" ???

Here up north, the black flies are so big they can actually pick you up and carry you away as they eat you up alive.......

Some of the local diners have a "black fly stir fry" on the menu.......
It consists of black flies along with the human flesh they have already eaten.. PROTEIN !!!!

Mosquitos and Palmetto bugs the size of Collie Dawgs, yep, Florida has em ! I usually spent the first 6 weeks of spring in Florida and the birds, every day it sounds like there are millions of them, where ever you go. I found a place where there are no mosquitoes to speak of, no gnats, fleas, ticks. only bug I see other than an occasional fly is ants and not many of them. Love it !

I remember being in New Hampshire as a kid. I almost became a forerunner of Balloon Boy - I SWORE those buggers were going to carry me away - they were HUGE!

As a kid living in the South Pacific, the Navy would drive around the island periodically spraying for mosquitos. Probably DDT in those "daze". We would gleefully follow; riding our bikes in the fog! Many years later, in Vietnam, found myself COVERED in mosquitos. I mean COVERED! But, for some strange reason, they weren't biting and I didn't contract malaria. Whew. That angel over my shoulder has been busy . . .
