Not me. I always thought pandemics would be contained as they always were until this one, before they could destroy life as we know it.

The series "Myth busters" explored this theory years ago. The suggestion then was that blood donors were having microchips implanted.

Well, actually, when you think of the size of the original "mainframe" computers, which not so long ago took up an entire room, and how they have shrunk and shrunk and shrunk in size.... why not keep shrinking them until they are down to the size of viruses? All great ideas were laughed at when they first came up.

Considering the way our lives are already being monitored by browsers and search engines, and the ability to implant chips into pets so they can be located when lost, and the way our GPS knows (and remembers) literally every place we go, and our cell phone remembers everything else, this theory sounds perfectly valid to me.

Personally. I don't care if they are injecting me with microchips. What are they going to monitor? Me taking the used car litter out to the garage every day and going grocery shopping once a week? Have fun.
