More sad news for Chic.

I say that, whether in thought or out loud whenever I step into the shower. I think that reminder to myself has saved me on several occasions.My 98 year old auntie fell, broke her hip and died. Please dear friends, do NOT fall. Whatever you do. Just don't fall.
Very sorry for your loss, chic. Age doesn't matter when you care for someone.

Sorry, Chic. A couple of years ago I had some falls from my wheelchair of all things. I would be reaching for something on the floor, reach too far and fall out of the chair. I bought me some reachers and finally stopped falling. I now keep one in every room so I can easily pick up anything on the floor. Sounds stupid to fall out of a wheelchair but it can happen.

I do as well, and am seriously considering a 'walk-in' tub/shower.
