More sensitive to as you get older

My biggest one is snagging my skin. I peel like an onion skin if I barely snag myself against a rough object. What should be just a normal scrape peels back into a large triangle of the top layer of skin. My son's say I need clothes made of bubble wrap. My arms rarely are bare of some sort of bandage.

It used to be that whenever I noticed anything new or different about my health, like a spot that shouldn't be there, or a new ache or sensitivity in my body, I didn't give it much thought - I just applied some OTC medication, or took Ibuprofen and in a few days it would be okay.

Since getting older, I'm more prone to think it may be a sign of something major developing and I should get a dermatology or PCP appointment. I usually wait a reasonable time before doing that, but it hangs like a cloud over my head until it's resolved.

Same since I found things. A few weeks ago I noticed a large lump under my armpit that freaked me out. Turned out to be a cyst that went away with amoxicillin......I rushed to the doctor.....lol

I’m finding that old saying .. ‘Less is More’ applies to my lifestyle more than ever ... speaking of both food and medicine.

I don’t take any prescription drugs, and treating any pain or heart concerns is an ongoing challenge … with the good side comes the bad in pretty much everything.
