Interesting article on probably the only known botched assassination by the Israeli Mossad killing an innocent waiter in Lillehammer Norway in 1973 believed to be someone involved with the 1972 Munich Olympic attacks.

I lost the link but one story has the Norwegians finding out by the Israeli nuclear program never using it for leverage since Norway gave Israel assistance/ heavy water in the 60s. Apparently Norway was told don't pursue suspects in other countries. They caught 9 people but not the actual hit men.
To me this raises the issues surrounding the ethics of using drones with possible collateral damage along with hitting the wrong person. And assassinations period. Especially on non enemy turf. One might say assassinations the old fashioned way in person were the predecessor to drones.
