Movie and TV characters - what was this character in?

Ready for a new game? I thought this one might be fun if it catches on.

The person who is "up" posts the name of a well-known movie or TV character. Underneath the name, he posts a hint, something about the character. (This has to be about the character, the name of the actor or actress doesn't get into it at all).

The other players have to try to guess the name of the movie or TV show. The first one to guess right gets to post the next mystery character.

It should be a main character, or a very well-known side character, known to a lot of people.

No googling, please. That would make the game meaningless. Let's just see how good our memories are at this.

I'll start with a ridiculously easy one:

Come on, guys, these are so easy! Just name the movie (or in this case, any one of the movies) or a book that had this character.
