Movie and TV Show Givens

It can be hundreds or even thousands of years ago, she is dirty from toiling in the fields,
her clothes are torn and tattered, she hasn't eaten for days, she lives in a mud hut,
she has no money, she's fighting to survive,
but,
she has long fake eyelashes, glittery blue eye shadow, and shiny lip gloss.

Detectives, plain clothes law enforcement, when spotting a suspect will always call out, "Stop, police" from a great distance.
If they had kept their mouth shut and walked up to the perp, then they would be able to nab the person instead of having a foot chase.

So often, when cops go to raid a known drug factory, that factory is totally empty

When in a haunted house there will be a storm with thunder and lightning

And the bad guy always gets caught.
The good guy always gets the girl.
Justice is always served.
Murder victims are always helpless, & usually female.
When the police get into a gun fight with James Cagney & he runs out of ammo, he always throws the empty gun at them. :ROFLMAO:

Not if you're watching Criminal Minds Win. :)

@JustDave "The bombers always walk away toward the camera when the whole building blows up, but they never look back to watch"
I guess that must be a thing. In the cute movie My Spy, a young girl who is spy wanna be in training gets to be a part of blowing up something. Her mentor, CIA agent who she caught in the act spying on her mother then blackmails to do her bidding and who probably winds up as her step dad in the end, tells her not to turn around after blowing up something (apparently it's not cool). After they blow up the plane her criminal uncle kidnapped her in, Mr. CIA gently turns her head forward and they do that cool walk away.

Don't watch much tv anymore, but when the hero is in deep do-do, you know the bad guy is going to take forever supporting him above a huge pot of boiling marmalade, or some other ridiculous method of doom. I'm always saying, "so just shoot him already".

When the villan has the hero at his mercy, he will not do away with the hero right away. Vilians like to gloat and explain their evil plans, thus buying time for the hero's friends or associates to organize a rescue.

The "Ugly/ Pretty Girl".

She's ugly with the black horn-rimmed glasses...until she takes them off...then looks like a stunning super model.
